At Wilkins & Associates Real Estate Inc., our salespeople enjoy earning above average incomes. In fact, many of our agents earn a living.

If you are starting a career in real estate, your first year earnings will depend a great deal on your effort and your willingness to work. However, if you are willing to do your part, you can expect a professional level of income within your first 14 to 18 months, assuming you are a full time agent.

As your career develops and you begin to build up more repeat and referral business, your income will also begin to rise, and before you know it, you can be earning a tremendous amount of money. How do I know? It happened for me - I have been in this industry since I was 18 years old. I was Rookie of the Year in 1995, Outstanding Salesperson in 1996 & 1999, and received the Certificate of Achievement in 1998. Since I have been an employee I have also received the Employee of the Year designation in 2002. Today I am also a proud stockholder.

Getting started in the real estate business is a lot easier than most people think. You must first obtain your real estate license. You are eligible to obtain your real estate license if you're over the age of 18, a legal resident, and meet certain other routine criteria. When available, our company offers a variety of programs that will assist you in taking your real estate courses.

After taking the required courses, to secure your license you will need to make an application and sit for an examination. When you pass the examination, your license will automatically be issued to a Broker, who you will work with.

When you join us, you will "learn the business" through our well-planned series of hands-on “Get Started” classes designed to teach you how to list a home, complete a CMA, write an Agreement of Sale and develop your personal marketing plan. (Did I mention our courses are FREE at no charge?)
